At Jaibas the beach is your garden. The sand starts where the pool ends, so the ocean gets used like one. In before breakfast, in again before lunch, in again when the light goes. No bag, no plan, no afternoon committed to it.

The seafood comes from a fishermen's village five minutes up the coast, landed that morning, cooked the way it is cooked here, simply and very well. Even people who don't like fish like the fish here. Local produce, home cooking, nothing heavy. For what this coast doesn't have we bring it in from Puerto Vallarta: good olive oil, parmesan, wine. And fresh coconuts from the palms, every day.
Diving, a boat for the day, a massage set up on the deck. Horses can be brought down to the beach if the children want to ride. The fishermen will take you out, and what you catch comes back for lunch.
Exclusive use of the villa, the grounds, the beach and the full staff. Four nights minimum in the green season, five in high season. Christmas and New Year are ten nights, quoted separately. Holiday and event weeks are quoted individually.
Puerto Vallarta carries the widest international connections. Manzanillo is nearer where schedules allow. Guests arriving by private aircraft land ten minutes from the house. Transfers are arranged for you and billed separately.
The Costa Alegre coast has a long, reliable dry season. Between November and May, rain is close to nonexistent. Six days in seven months.
